"Boogity, Boogity, Boogity - Let's Wad 'Em Up Boy's!"

Last week, I closed out the "Wall Whacking Waltrip Wanting Win!" with this:

"Yep, watching and waiting for the big one (A Nascar Wreck)...cause it's going to happen, always does, and always will..just wondering when!"

When?... was lap 133...

Now, did Junior cause that?...How 'bout Jimmy Johnson?. Bring on the finger pointing. All I know is they ran out of wreckers trying to clear the track.

I was returning from Reno, Nevada after five fantastic days at The Young Marines Leadership Conference, changing planes in Denver. United asked if anyone would volunteer to take a later flight...So I'm thinkin' the race is on tv somewhere in this airport, so I'm your guy...

Let's go find a bar...first, let's congratulate Denver for having an arena football team...NOBODY CARES!...every TV was tuned to their team on NBC.

BFD, I'm looking for Nascar...finally, found a bar that allowed smoking, I'll betcha they got the race on in here...BINGO! Just in time for lap 133.

Mike Wallace is sideways..you start looking...where's that 8 car, the 15, did they make it? Oh no, there's Tony, Rusty and Mark, Biffle's in it too. God, is there anyone that didn't wad it up?

Smoke clears and you hear 'em say: "25 cars involved!".

Now keep in mind, a restrictor plate Nextel Cup car costs around $300,000 and there's 25 of 'em all effffffed up. Do the math!

We now fast forward to only 5 laps to go.

Junior ain't got it, Jeff is too strong, will some one please push Mikey up there, come on Tony, oh boy, here we go, this is going to one hell of a finish. History tells us that if you're leading at Talladega with just a few laps to go.you are a sitting duck....so Gordon should start quacking right about now!

Then you see the 8 sideways, with the 48 going into the wall...let me just say, by now, the entire bar is glued to the tv and they are yelling at it. Half of this bar would get fined 25 k and docked 25 points for what was coming out of their mouths.

Nascar lines up what's left and sets 'em free...The 24 car takes it and deserves it.

Tony Stewart 2nd again, with Mikey 3rd, and Junior takes 15th...DEI fans are bummed and happy at the same time. What a brow wiper that was, and Darlington under the lights is next. They call that track "the lady in black", one of the toughest tracks in Nascar...and they are going to race 'em when it's dark!.

Attention car owners: "Get your checkbooks out, it's gonna be an expensive night!"

My flight's leaving, I gotta go...
