"Hey Tony, Get Out Of My Head!"

Tony Stewart appeared on The Speed Channel's "Wind Tunnel"..
when asked about Happy Harvick's actions towards Joe Nemecheck, after
the crash that Tony actually started...

"Having something like that has built the sport...

Corporate influences have made drivers have to straighten up, NASCAR realizes that. They have jumped on board and NOT really officially set guidelines, but have unofficially set guidelines...for what we have to do and what we can and can't do.

The thing that I am so leery about...

I like Kevin (Harvick)..I like him because we are a lot alike, we are very honest about our emotions...One thing that you don't want to do and is happening in this sport. Is that so many of the personalities are being taken away. Everybody is just a good guy, everybody says the right things, does the right things....the next thing ya know, you might as well put 43 computers in there...dress 'em up in the outfits, put the helmets on them and let them drive the cars.

It's not going to be any fun.

The personalities are what makes this series as much fun to watch as it is. You have to have guys that are fiery and aggressive...you have to have guys like Mark Martin, that are more calculated and passive, that think about what they do before they do it...and you have to have guys like Jeff Gordon, that do everything the right way....Everybody has their place in the system, they have to have guys like me and Kevin (Harvick), they have to have guys like Mark (Martin) and Jeff (Gordon)....and there is everybody else in between....but it takes all of us to make it the package that it is today."

Took the words right out of my mouth!
