"Jeff Gordon Wins All-Star Race!"

 

When it comes to picking who is going to win the "Nextel Cup All Star Race" this weekend at Charlotte, nobody is better than the president of Lowe's Motor Speedway...Humpy Wheeler.

He's 9 for 16, even though, his last correct prediction came true in 2001, when he picked Dale Earnhardt Jr. After watching many drivers recent testing at the newly resurfaced mile and a half. Humpy says, it's gonna be a former three time winner of the event.

"Jeff Gordon has this place figured out,'' Wheeler said. "He knew more about what we did to the track than anybody, and he even picked out the little secret things we did. Jeff has shown an ability to adapt to new tracks as fast or faster than any driver I have ever seen. In fact, he might have found a groove nobody knows about.''

But Humpy also mentioned, Mark Martin and Rusty Wallace.

"This will be the final time these two guys compete in the (race) and that will be extra incentive for them to get up on the wheel,'' Wheeler said. "It would be a very popular victory if either of these guys can claim the $1 million first prize.''

With that said...If Jeff Gordon wins on Saturday, then you know who's going to win the 600?... that would be....Greg Biffle.

When the 24 car wins one week, the 16 car wins the next!

That's what has happened three times this year, so far!
