"Oh, What A Night!"
(Applause)....Thank You, Thank You....Yes, it was I....that predicted a Roush or Hendrick car would NOT win at Richmond! (see yesterday's issue of Nascar Wrecks)
Geez, Mark...we are a little full of ourselves, aren't we? Here, how about a nice big cup of "Shut the hell up!"
Evernham, Gibbs, Penske......what no Roush, no Hendrick?
Kasey Kahne dominated most of the night. While being taken to school by Tony Stewart, on how to get through lap traffic. After 47 Nextel Cup starts and finishing 2nd six times. Kasey, not only, won his first Cup race, but, he did something that hasn't been done since 1977. He put a Dodge in the winner's circle.
"Wow Moments" from Richmond
Carl Edwards and Elliot Sadler heated argument after pre-race drivers meeting.
Jimmie Johnson not blaming anyone for his Nascar wreck(s).
Jeff Gordon parking it, after HE, ever so slightly hit the wall.
Jason Leffler DIDN'T hit the wall, and finished 25th.
Rookie Kyle Busch's 4th place finish.
Junior's reply on the radio, after getting popped for speeding on pit row.
Long green flag runs.
13 second pit stops.
Tony Stewart, leaning in Kahne's car to congratulate him, as Kahne headed for the winner's circle.
Realizing "no more short tracks till the end of August!"
