Tony Stewart Slaps Pepsi

Joseph Foster - (Insider Racing News) on Tony Stewarts win last weekend in Daytona:

Chris Economaki had it right when he called Tony Stewart “America’s Racer”.

Stewarts Saturday victory in the Pepsi 400 was popular with the Daytona fans, as the two-time NASCAR champion became one with the masses.

The spin doctors were quick to say Stewart slammed the Pepsi brand by disallowing valuable television time in the Pepsi sponsored victory lane.

If that is the case, Coke owes Stewart a “chug point” multiplier.

No matter how you splice it, Tony Stewart lived up to the Economaki brand -- and gained a galaxy of new fans, all partying like rock stars due to his crushing victory.

Tony Stewart: "They may call this the Pepsi 400, but Coca-Cola still tastes a hell of a lot better".
